Loire Valley Weather 
The Loire Valley can be visited at any time of year though to see it at its best you probably want to visit between spring and autumn. Below are the temperatures you can expect.

April and May:

Temperatures begin to rise to around 20C. You will get the odd days of rain but this shouldn't be for long periods. If you choose to visit at this time of year you will find less tourists at the popular sites within the Loire Valley.

June to September:

Late spring and summer brings more reliable weather with long sunny spells with average daily temperatures around 24C. July temperatures peak as high as 27C dropping to 22C the closer you get to September.

October and November:

Average highs in October of 17C and in November 12C make this a time for wrapping up slightly warmer but there can still some beautiful days for walking and cycling. You can expect some light frosts .

December  to March:

Winter into early spring can be a chilly time with a low in February of 8C  to a high of 11C in March. There can be periods of heavy rain.   If you are visiting the area during these months -it's not for the weather!
